Brazil PNRS Law 12,305/2010 and packaging EPR
Brazil's PNRS establishes shared life-cycle responsibility and reverse logistics under applicable product and packaging rules.
Legal and market context
Brazil's PNRS defines shared product lifecycle responsibility and reverse-logistics instruments implemented by sector and waste stream.
Required records and evidence
Germany separately requires assessment of producer registration, scheme participation, reporting and authorised representation based on actual sales arrangements.
Practical controlled workflow
Product and Packaging Master can share materials and weights, but Brazilian certificates cannot become a German registration or operator contract.
Decree 10,936/2022 and sector instruments
The decree implements PNRS. Articles 12, 15 and 18 address the National Reverse Logistics Programme, integration with SINIR and implementation through sector agreements, commitments or public regulations. Identify the instrument applicable to your product and activity.
Glass and plastic have distinct regimes
Glass packaging follows Decree 11,300/2022; plastic packaging follows Decree 12,688/2025 within its scope. Separate targets, responsibilities and evidence by material. Do not apply plastic percentages or dates to glass.
