EPRORA connects packaging compliance, product passports and production data. Small online shops, manufacturers and enterprise groups can organise their data in one platform.
Germany packaging EPR and LUCID
LUCID, German authorised representative, system status, packaging quantities, reports, evidence and shop/marketplace data in one ongoing workflow.
Battery passport
EU battery passports then apply to EV batteries, light-means-of-transport batteries and industrial batteries above 2 kWh. Capture model and item-level evidence at source.
Textile product passport
Product-specific ESPR rules are planned for 2027; actual obligations and transitions depend on adopted measures. There is no universal textile DPP mandate from February 2027.
Furniture product passport
Furniture manufacturers can organise materials, components, suppliers, origin, care information and product identifiers for a digital furniture passport.
Product serialisation and QR identity
Individual products or production units can be uniquely identified by serial numbers and QR codes and linked to product, production, Digital Product Passport and compliance records.
Production Connector: ERP, PIM, MES and commerce
Production and enterprise systems can connect through the EPRORA Production Connector to product, serial-number, packaging and compliance workflows.

EPRORA can therefore connect the path from a manufactured unit through serial number, QR-based product identity and Digital Product Passport to packaging and market compliance in one system.
LUCID registration and number
Official registration in the LUCID packaging register is free. The obligated business performs its own registration. Prepare the legal entity, address, brands and packaging types; use an existing valid registration instead of creating a duplicate.
Costs and scope
Separate free official LUCID registration, any required system participation and EPRORA service fees. Review the current price, included services, any setup fee, renewal and cancellation terms before subscribing. No purchase should be based on an assumed all-inclusive licence.
Product and packaging data
Record product identifiers, packaging components, material, weight, destination and reporting period. Separate product packaging from shipping packaging. Reconcile quantities across channels and retain supporting records rather than estimating missing weights or double-counting orders.
Small sellers and independent shops
Start with the products and packaging actually shipped. An Etsy shop, eBay business or small independent store can prepare the same core records without an enterprise IT project. Use the self-check to identify the relevant next step, not to assume that every service is required.

Distinguish private occasional resale from professional Vinted Pro activity. Selling a used item does not automatically settle obligations for newly added shipping packaging. Check Pro availability, eligibility and the platform's current rules; EPRORA is not a Vinted approval service.
Practical next steps
Data connection depends on the platform, account permissions and the specific EPRORA connector available. Confirm those conditions before relying on an API; assess a suitable permitted export/import route where a direct connection is unavailable.
Start with product and packaging master data, map supplier evidence and production batches, then connect serial numbers and QR identities. Interfaces and permissions determine which ERP, PIM, MES and commerce steps can be automated.
For manufacturers exporting to the EU: organise material and supplier evidence from Chinese production facilities, textile and garment factories in Bangladesh, and sock and knitwear production in Morocco. Map batch, SKU and serial identities to the actual production records.
Can I use a product passport before it becomes mandatory?
Battery, textile and furniture passport services are offered now. Service availability does not mean that every product already has a legal passport obligation. Product-specific rules determine duties and dates.
