Keep your Lithuanian legal entity, GPAIS processes, ERP, Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay and existing sales channels. EPRORA adds the Germany layer: producer role, mandate, LUCID, system participation, packaging data, reporting and evidence in one EPRORA Office.
Since 12 August 2026 the PPWR and German VerpackDG govern the new framework. A foreign producer without a German establishment that directly supplies German end users must appoint a German-based EPR authorised representative; LUCID registration remains the producer’s personal duty.
Lithuanian producers and importers register in the GPAIS Register of Producers and Importers and keep national product and packaging records. That infrastructure does not replace Germany-specific LUCID, system participation, reporting or EPR representation.
EPRORA contracts and invoices remain in CHF. Official LUCID registration = CHF 0. German system participation is a separate third-party cost based on material, weight and operator. EUR display is indicative only.
Automation uses supported connectors, API, middleware or structured import. A platform is never presented as a direct integration if no direct connector exists.
The ZSVR gives the following examples: up to €200,000 for breaches of system-participation duties, up to €100,000 for breaches of registration duties and up to €10,000 for breaches of data-reporting duties.
The actual fine depends on the type, severity and degree of fault. Multiple breaches may be sanctioned separately; disgorgement of economic benefits may also be possible.
Beyond German packaging EPR, EPRORA can connect product and production data with ongoing compliance. That turns a single regulatory obligation into a reusable digital operating layer for products and markets.
LUCID, German authorised representative, system status, packaging quantities, reports, evidence and shop/marketplace data in one ongoing workflow.
Product, material and compliance data can be consolidated into digital product passports and made available as structured product information.
Individual products or production units can be uniquely identified by serial numbers and QR codes and linked to product, production, Digital Product Passport and compliance records.
Production and enterprise systems can connect through the EPRORA Production Connector to product, serial-number, packaging and compliance workflows.
EPRORA can therefore connect the path from a manufactured unit through serial number, QR-based product identity and Digital Product Passport to packaging and market compliance in one system.
For manufacturers, brands and exporters: organise product, material, supplier and production data early. The EU is introducing Digital Product Passports by product category, not as a blanket rule for every product in 2027.
EU battery passports then apply to EV batteries, light-means-of-transport batteries and industrial batteries above 2 kWh. Capture model and item-level evidence at source.
Product-specific ESPR rules are planned for 2027; actual obligations and transitions depend on adopted measures. There is no universal textile DPP mandate from February 2027.
Iron and steel, aluminium, tyres, furniture and other groups are progressing on separate regulatory timetables. Only the applicable EU legal acts set binding requirements.
EPRORA connects product master data, material and supplier evidence, batches, serial numbers and QR identity, with optional production-system integration where interfaces permit. Make DPP preparation a reusable export-data workflow.
Specific integrations depend on interfaces and data quality. DPP readiness must not be confused with verified legal compliance.
One-time setup for a new German mandate: CHF 29.
Plus applicable VAT; system participation and selected add-ons are separate.
Separate free official LUCID registration, any required system participation and EPRORA service fees. Review the current price, included services, any setup fee, renewal and cancellation terms before subscribing. No purchase should be based on an assumed all-inclusive licence.
Check requirements →Lithuanian business culture values punctuality and professional preparation, while face-to-face contact helps build relationships and mutual understanding. EPRORA therefore leads with responsibility, price, deadlines, legal structure and primary sources. The Big Business impression comes from control and evidence rather than empty superlatives.
ZSVR cites up to €200,000 for certain system-participation breaches, up to €100,000 for registration breaches and up to €10,000 for certain data-reporting breaches. Actual sanctions depend on the violation.
In September 2026 Google held about 91% of Lithuania’s search market and ChatGPT more than 83% of the AI chatbot market. The Lithuania rollout therefore prioritises Google and ChatGPT while structuring content for Gemini, Copilot, Claude, Perplexity and other search engines.
No. GPAIS is Lithuania-specific; German producer role, LUCID, system participation, reporting and representation are assessed separately.
Yes. Official registration and ZSVR data reporting are free of charge.
Yes. For the same legal entity, the existing record is normally retained and updated.
No. Since 12 August 2026 LUCID registration remains the producer’s personal duty; EPRORA prepares data and performs transferable EPR obligations after valid appointment.
This page provides general compliance information and does not replace individual legal, tax or customs advice. Producer role, sales chain and applicable law must be assessed case by case.
Use the self-check to record the EU countries you sell to. Then explicitly choose each supported country for which you wish to appoint EPRORA. Selecting a sales destination does not itself grant a mandate.
Each newly appointed country has its own applicable annual subscription and one-time mandate setup fee. Regular annual renewal does not repeat the setup fee. The self-check shows the country-by-country charges, first-year total and subsequent annual fees. Applicable VAT and third-party costs are itemised separately.
A country rules and monitoring package does not replace representation or the annual subscription for another country. Additional services are shown separately from the mandate.
Each appointed country has its own mandate documents. Review the details, complete any blank fields and sign the relevant documents. Generating a document or making a payment alone does not activate the mandate.
A German LUCID registration or a German mandate does not replace a separate appointment for other sales markets. Existing registrations and packaging scheme agreements are taken into account when processing your appointment.
EPRORA connects packaging compliance, product passports and production data. Small online shops, manufacturers and enterprise groups can organise their data in one platform.
