If a U.S. company is the relevant producer under German packaging rules, it must complete the producer-only registration itself; EPRORA supports preparation and continues with the transferable compliance workflow.

Official producer registration is free of charge.

No. The producer-only registration step must be completed by the producer. EPRORA can prepare and guide it and manage the transferable follow-on workflow.
What if our U.S. company already has LUCID?
Keep it. Review and update the existing registration rather than creating a duplicate.
