Amazon Germany EPR for U.S. sellers
Selling through Amazon.de does not remove the underlying German packaging obligations. A U.S. seller still needs to assess the responsible producer, LUCID registration, system participation, reporting and the German Authorized Representative requirement where it applies.
Marketplace verification is not the legal obligation itself
Platform compliance fields can support marketplace enforcement, but German producer-responsibility duties still need to be fulfilled independently.
Keep the existing Amazon business
EPRORA is designed as a compliance layer. It does not require moving the seller away from its existing Amazon commerce setup.
Frequently asked questions
Does Amazon replace the U.S. seller’s LUCID duty?
Do not assume a marketplace replaces the producer’s legal registration obligations. The responsible producer must ensure the German requirements are fulfilled.
Can I keep my current Amazon account?
Yes. EPRORA does not require a marketplace migration.
Can Amazon data reduce manual work?
Where supported connector permissions allow it, EPRORA can use commerce data in the packaging compliance workflow.

Digital Product Passports, serial numbers, QR codes and production integration
EPRORA can extend the same product and packaging data into Digital Product Passports, serial-number and QR-code-based product identity, supported marketplace/shop workflows and the Production Connector for production or enterprise-system integration.
Keep the revenue engine. Add the German compliance layer.
Existing LUCID registrations, marketplaces and stores can remain in place. EPRORA organizes the German Authorized Representative, LUCID status, packaging data and evidence workflow around them.
