Germany EPR for Turkish manufacturers
Turkey is a major manufacturing and export market, but manufacturing the product does not automatically mean the factory has the same legal role under German packaging law. Brand owner, contract manufacturing, exporter, German importer and the actual sales chain must be assessed together.
Separate the manufacturing role from the German EPR role
A German importer first placing goods on the market in its own name can change the role analysis; direct-to-consumer sales by the Turkish brand are different.
Reuse production data
EPRORA connects product master data, packaging, serial numbers, QR identity, DPP and supported production systems.
Digital Product Passports, serial numbers, QR codes and production integration
EPRORA can extend the same product and packaging data into Digital Product Passports, serial-number and QR-code product identity, supported marketplace/shop workflows and Production Connector integration for production or enterprise systems.
Frequently asked questions
Is official LUCID registration free?
Yes. Producer registration and ZSVR data reporting are free of charge. Dual-system, representative and private service costs are separate.
Can an existing LUCID number be reused?
Yes. The existing producer registration should normally be retained and updated rather than duplicated.
Do VAT, customs or EORI replace German packaging EPR?
No. Tax, customs and packaging producer responsibility are separate compliance layers.
Can existing shops and marketplaces stay in place?
Yes. EPRORA adds the German compliance and data layer around supported existing commerce channels.
