Thailand is developing extended producer responsibility for packaging through the Pollution Control Department and industry initiatives such as FTI/TIPMSE. Draft laws and voluntary programmes should not be represented as an already universal Thai EPR producer-registration requirement. In contrast, the EU PPWR and German VerpackDG have applied in Germany since 12 August 2026.
Assess currently applicable Thai laws separately from draft legislation, voluntary programmes and packaging waste pilots.
Determine liable producer, official registration, packaging-scheme participation, reporting and the need for a German representative.
Connect brand, SKU, packaging weight, marketplaces, mandate and documentation while keeping national legal duties distinct.
Even small volumes can require German packaging EPR when packaged goods are sent directly to German end users.
Retain existing shops; use supported APIs or structured data imports without assuming every channel has a native connector.
Organise product master data, materials, manufacturing batches, suppliers and identity for EU buyers.
Prepare serials, QR and DPP data by product group without suggesting a blanket 2027 passport obligation.
Select business model, packaging and any optional DPP units; zero must be selectable.
All active EPRORA annual plans and German setup fees are visible; third-party packaging schemes are charged separately.
Update your prior producer registration instead of duplicating it. Producer-personal steps remain with the producer.
After a valid appointment and executed contract EPRORA can handle legally transferable duties.
Organise marketplace, product and packaging data and evidence in EPRORA Office for ongoing workflows.
All current plan names and annual prices come directly from EPRORA’s configured pricing. Contract and invoice currency is CHF; THB equivalents would require a live exchange rate.
One-time German representative mandate setup: CHF 29
Official LUCID producer registration: CHF 0
German packaging-system participation is a separate third-party charge based on material, weight and provider.
Digital Product Passports are optional. Choose quantity 0 in the Selfcheck if not needed; do not add an unwanted subscription automatically.
Check obligations and pricing →EPRORA uses supported APIs, middleware or structured imports. Direct integration depends on actual data rights and the specific provider. Shopee and Lazada sellers may use structured exports where no supported direct connector exists.
Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, Etsy and other channels that provide usable data interfaces.
SAP, Dynamics, NetSuite, Odoo and custom manufacturing MES/ERP systems subject to supported interfaces.
Unify SKU, materials, packaging weights, origin, suppliers and audit-ready documents.
A DPP is more than a QR image. It can connect product, materials, suppliers, origin, manufacturing batch, serial identity and evidence according to product-specific EU requirements.
For EV batteries, LMT batteries and industrial batteries above 2 kWh placed on the EU market or put into service. The legal scope does not cover every battery category.
There is no blanket DPP mandate for all electronic equipment or auto parts in February 2027. Organise supplier, serial and batch data for future customer requirements.
The Commission plans a textile ESPR delegated act for Q4 2027. Binding application dates depend on adopted measures. Production and QR integration requires supported interfaces.
Suitable for multiple brands, legal entities, sales markets and contract manufacturers, while allowing independent merchants to get started without unnecessary complexity.
The ZSVR gives the following examples: up to €200,000 for breaches of system-participation duties, up to €100,000 for breaches of registration duties and up to €10,000 for breaches of data-reporting duties.
The actual fine depends on the type, severity and degree of fault. Multiple breaches may be sanctioned separately; disgorgement of economic benefits may also be possible.
Beyond German packaging EPR, EPRORA can connect product and production data with ongoing compliance. That turns a single regulatory obligation into a reusable digital operating layer for products and markets.
LUCID, German authorised representative, system status, packaging quantities, reports, evidence and shop/marketplace data in one ongoing workflow.
Product, material and compliance data can be consolidated into digital product passports and made available as structured product information.
Individual products or production units can be uniquely identified by serial numbers and QR codes and linked to product, production, Digital Product Passport and compliance records.
Production and enterprise systems can connect through the EPRORA Production Connector to product, serial-number, packaging and compliance workflows.
EPRORA can therefore connect the path from a manufactured unit through serial number, QR-based product identity and Digital Product Passport to packaging and market compliance in one system.
Incorrect LUCID registration, packaging-scheme participation or representative records can create enforcement risks. Assess the actual contractual and supply chain rather than relying on marketplace status alone.
Potentially. Determine German producer status and whether packaged goods are sold directly to end users in Germany.
Yes. ZSVR producer registration is free. EPRORA fees and third-party packaging scheme costs are separate.
No. Retain and update the record for the same legal entity, including representative details where required.
No. This depends on qualifying foreign producer status, lack of a German branch and direct sales to German end users.
No. German destination-market EPR is separate from Thailand’s developing domestic policy and recycling initiatives.
Only where actual API capabilities and permissions support it; structured export/import may be used where no direct connector exists.
No. Sector-specific EU rules apply separately. The battery passport from February 2027 covers certain battery categories, not all products.
Yes. Choose quantity zero in Selfcheck to avoid proposing an unneeded DPP add-on.
General information only; not case-specific legal, tax or customs advice. · 2026-10-12
General compliance information only, not individual legal, tax or customs advice. Identify the real German packaging producer from the actual sales and distribution chain.
Use the self-check to record the EU countries you sell to. Then explicitly choose each supported country for which you wish to appoint EPRORA. Selecting a sales destination does not itself grant a mandate.
Each newly appointed country has its own applicable annual subscription and one-time mandate setup fee. Regular annual renewal does not repeat the setup fee. The self-check shows the country-by-country charges, first-year total and subsequent annual fees. Applicable VAT and third-party costs are itemised separately.
A country rules and monitoring package does not replace representation or the annual subscription for another country. Additional services are shown separately from the mandate.
Each appointed country has its own mandate documents. Review the details, complete any blank fields and sign the relevant documents. Generating a document or making a payment alone does not activate the mandate.
A German LUCID registration or a German mandate does not replace a separate appointment for other sales markets. Existing registrations and packaging scheme agreements are taken into account when processing your appointment.
EPRORA connects packaging compliance, product passports and production data. Small online shops, manufacturers and enterprise groups can organise their data in one platform.
