Information for your market

Packaging EPR, LUCID and German authorised representation — in one EPRORA workspace.

Keep your Israeli business, online storefront and existing systems. EPRORA organises packaging quantities, mandate records, sales channels, documents and evidence for German reporting in one operational workspace. Check obligations and prices before subscribing.

For small Etsy, eBay, Amazon and Shopify sellers, Wix and WooCommerce stores, Israeli exporters, electronics and IoT innovators, battery manufacturers and international industrial groups. Digital Product Passports are a separate product-data service.

Identify the liable producer before subscribing

Direct sales from Israel to German consumers

Since 12 August 2026, qualifying foreign producers without a German branch supplying empty packaging or packaged products directly to German end users must appoint a German authorised representative.

Exports through a German importer or retailer

Actual obligations depend on contracting, supply-chain structure and who places packaging on the German market. An Israeli exporter is not necessarily the legally responsible producer in every arrangement.

LUCID registration, packaging scheme and reporting

Producer-personal registration steps remain with the producer. Legally transferable tasks can be delegated after a valid appointment.

Israel Packaging Law, Tamir and German LUCID serve different markets

Israel · Packaging Treatment Law 2011

Israel has binding EPR packaging obligations for covered producers and importers, including recycling and funding of packaging waste. Determine applicable materials, reporting and authorised-body contracting under Israeli law.

Tamir · recognised packaging recycling body

The Israeli Environment Ministry's published recognition covers Tamir until 30 November 2026. Confirm renewal and applicable rates for subsequent periods. A Tamir contract is not a German LUCID record.

EPRORA · clearly defined cross-border service

EPRORA organises German packaging EPR and EU product-data readiness. It does not claim to submit government filings in Israel or contract with Tamir on a customer's behalf without a separately authorised arrangement.

From independent merchants to industrial enterprises

Etsy, eBay, Amazon and Shopify merchants

Small seller status alone is no exemption when goods with packaging are delivered directly to German end users.

Wix, WooCommerce and own online stores

Keep your store and catalogue. Direct integrations depend on supported APIs and permissions; structured imports may be used where a connector is unavailable.

Electronics, IoT and battery technology

Prepare materials, component origin, supplier, batch, serial and evidence records for EU buyers without inventing a blanket DPP requirement.

Export manufacturers and industrial groups

Organise product and packaging master data across brands, legal entities, factories and export markets with appropriate access controls.

Five practical steps toward auditable records

1 · Free Selfcheck

Select your sales model, packaging characteristics and optional DPP count. Zero passports is a valid choice.

2 · Review prices before checkout

See current annual plans, one-time mandate setup and external operator costs separately.

3 · Reuse existing LUCID data

Retain records for the same legal entity and personally complete producer-only register actions.

4 · Sign a valid mandate

Lawfully delegated work starts after the appropriate written agreement and required authorisation, not simply after clicking a button.

5 · Maintain evidence in Office

Organise channel, packaging and product records for controlled reporting. Automation is limited by verified data quality and integration support.

DPP · ESPR · BATTERY PASSPORT

Digital Product Passports: a second export-data business case

A DPP is more than a QR image. Product, material, supplier, origin, batch, serial and verified evidence should follow product-category EU requirements. There is no universal February 2027 deadline.

EU battery passport · 18 February 2027

Covers EV, light-means-of-transport (LMT) and industrial batteries above 2 kWh placed on the EU market or put into service. The operator responsible for the finished battery is not automatically every component supplier.

Textiles, electronics and other product groups

Dates, data fields and transition periods depend on adopted product-specific rules. No blanket February 2027 passport requirement applies to all textiles or electronic devices.

QR, serialisation and Production Connector

Organise Product Master, Packaging Master, supplier evidence and manufacturing records. Integration with ERP/PIM/MES depends on supported interfaces and permissions. Data readiness does not itself constitute compliance certification.

Discuss manufacturing and enterprise integration

Your existing store and production systems remain the starting point

Amazon, Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, Etsy and eBay may provide data where supported APIs and account permissions exist. A direct connector is not guaranteed for every system; structured imports are an alternative. Customs, shipping, VAT and product certifications are not automatically included.

Frequently asked questions

Is official LUCID registration free?

EPRORA service charges and German packaging-operator payments are separate from official free producer registration.

Do I need DPP to subscribe?

Select zero product passports in Selfcheck if none is needed. DPP must not be added to packaging plans automatically.

Does a SABER certificate cover Germany?

The Israeli Environment Ministry's published recognition covers Tamir until 30 November 2026. Confirm renewal and applicable rates for subsequent periods. A Tamir contract is not a German LUCID record.

Will my shop automatically connect without review?

Amazon, Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, Etsy and eBay may provide data where supported APIs and account permissions exist. A direct connector is not guaranteed for every system; structured imports are an alternative. Customs, shipping, VAT and product certifications are not automatically included.

When do delegated services start?

Lawfully delegated work starts after the appropriate written agreement and required authorisation, not simply after clicking a button.

Packaging representation for your EU sales markets

Use the self-check to record the EU countries you sell to. Then explicitly choose each supported country for which you wish to appoint EPRORA. Selecting a sales destination does not itself grant a mandate.

A separate mandate and annual subscription for each country

Each newly appointed country has its own applicable annual subscription and one-time mandate setup fee. Regular annual renewal does not repeat the setup fee. The self-check shows the country-by-country charges, first-year total and subsequent annual fees. Applicable VAT and third-party costs are itemised separately.

A country rules and monitoring package does not replace representation or the annual subscription for another country. Additional services are shown separately from the mandate.

Country-specific mandate documents

Each appointed country has its own mandate documents. Review the details, complete any blank fields and sign the relevant documents. Generating a document or making a payment alone does not activate the mandate.

A German LUCID registration or a German mandate does not replace a separate appointment for other sales markets. Existing registrations and packaging scheme agreements are taken into account when processing your appointment.

Battery, textile and furniture product passports

EPRORA connects packaging compliance, product passports and production data. Small online shops, manufacturers and enterprise groups can organise their data in one platform.
