Prepare before opening LUCID
Collect the legal company name, address, national registration data, tax/VAT details, brands and the representative’s exact company name or representative ID before starting.
Keep the handoff simple
The platform should keep the customer account open, show copy-ready registration data and open the official LUCID registration in a new tab. After completion the customer returns and records the LUCID number.
Verify after submission
Register information can be checked later against the public register/API. Because public register updates may not be instantaneous, onboarding should distinguish submitted from verified status.
FAQ
Can a service provider do the first registration for the producer?
The ZSVR describes the initial registration as a personal obligation of the manufacturer. The service can prepare and guide the process but should not replace the manufacturer in that step.
When is the representative appointment effective?
Only after the authorised representative confirms the appointment in LUCID.
