Germany EPR for Taiwan companies
A Taiwan company selling packaged products directly to German end users must assess German packaging EPR separately from VAT, customs, EORI, logistics and domestic Taiwan environmental compliance. Depending on the actual sales chain, LUCID, dual-system participation, packaging reporting and a German authorised representative can apply.
Germany is a separate destination-market compliance layer
Taiwan company registration, export clearance, logistics or marketplace status does not automatically satisfy German packaging producer responsibility.
Build a reusable operating layer
EPRORA connects representation, LUCID status, packaging quantities, commerce data and evidence in one workspace.
Digital Product Passports, serial numbers, QR codes and production integration
EPRORA can extend the same product and packaging data into Digital Product Passports, serial-number and QR-code product identity, supported marketplace/shop workflows and Production Connector integration for production or enterprise systems.
Frequently asked questions
Is official LUCID registration free?
Yes. Producer registration and ZSVR data reporting are free of charge. Dual-system, representative and private service costs are separate.
Can a Taiwan company reuse an existing LUCID number?
Yes. The existing producer registration should normally be retained and updated rather than duplicated.
Do VAT, customs, EORI or logistics replace German packaging EPR?
No. Tax, customs, logistics and packaging producer responsibility are separate compliance layers.
Can existing Amazon, Shopify, Etsy or eBay accounts remain in place?
Yes. EPRORA adds the German compliance and data layer around supported existing commerce channels.
