EU DPP preparation for Indonesian electronics and semiconductor suppliers
Electronics, PCB and EMS suppliers can organise materials, supplier, origin, batch and product identity evidence for EU buyers. There is no blanket February 2027 DPP requirement for all electronic products.
Indonesia: producer waste-reduction requirements
Permen LHK P.75/2019 is already in force for covered producers, with a 2020–2029 roadmap targeting 30% waste reduction by 2029. The KLH/BPLH consultation on 6 October 2026 concerned draft revisions; proposed measures must not be misrepresented as already law.
Germany: LUCID and authorised representation
PPWR and VerpackDG have applied in Germany since 12 August 2026. Determine the liable producer from the actual sales chain. Official LUCID registration is free and producer-personal. Reuse existing records. Qualifying foreign direct sellers without a German branch need a German authorised representative.
EPRORA: marketplaces, manufacturing and DPP
EPRORA structures product/packaging master data, contracts, materials, suppliers, QR, serials and batches. Integration with Amazon, Shopify, Shopee, Tokopedia, TikTok Shop and ERP/MES depends on supported APIs and account permissions. DPP is optional and quantity zero must be possible.

Breaches can lead to fines of up to €200,000 – and a distribution ban may also apply.
The ZSVR gives the following examples: up to €200,000 for breaches of system-participation duties, up to €100,000 for breaches of registration duties and up to €10,000 for breaches of data-reporting duties.
The actual fine depends on the type, severity and degree of fault. Multiple breaches may be sanctioned separately; disgorgement of economic benefits may also be possible.

Reuse existing LUCID or assess new obligations
Official LUCID producer registration is free and existing records should be reused. Indonesia P.75/2019 and German VerpackDG are legally distinct; DPP services are optional and product-category specific.

Does Indonesia P.75/2019 replace German LUCID?
No. Indonesia’s producer waste-reduction roadmap and Germany’s destination-market packaging EPR are distinct legal frameworks.
Is LUCID registration free, and can an old number be retained?
Yes. Official producer registration is free. Update and reuse the existing registration for the same legal entity instead of duplicating it.
Can small Etsy, Shopify or Shopee sellers have German EPR duties?
Potentially, if the legal producer and supply chain trigger German rules, particularly direct sales to German end users. Technical connections depend on actual supported APIs.
Are DPPs mandatory for all products from February 2027?
No. The battery passport applies to certain batteries from 18 February 2027. Textiles and other product groups follow separate legislative timetables.
