German EPR authorised representative for Danish companies

A Danish producer without an establishment in Germany that directly supplies packaged products to German end users must assess the German authorised-representative requirement. EPRORA combines appointment, LUCID status, packaging data, reporting and evidence in one controlled workflow.

Keep your Danish legal entity, marketplaces and ERP/PIM stack
Treat Danish packaging EPR and German destination-market EPR as separate compliance layers
Reuse an existing LUCID record for the same legal entity
Connect Product Master, Packaging Master, DPP, serial numbers, QR and production data

Producer registration remains producer-specific

Personal producer registration steps stay with the producer where legally required. After valid appointment, transferable EPR obligations can be handled through the representative workflow.

One legal entity, one consistent record

Danish entity, LUCID record, brands, system participation and marketplace evidence should remain aligned.

DENMARK EPR ≠ GERMANY EPR

DPA registration and a Danish collective scheme do not replace LUCID.

DPA administers the Danish register and packaging requires membership in at least one collective scheme. Danish compliance can be correct without automatically satisfying German producer registration, system participation, reporting or representation.

BEYOND PACKAGING EPR

DPP, serial numbers, QR and production in the same data model

EPRORA can extend the same product and packaging data to Digital Product Passports, serial numbers, QR product identity, supported commerce data and Production Connector.

Frequently asked questions

Does Danish packaging producer responsibility cover Germany?

No. Danish packaging producer responsibility is administered through the Danish producer register and Danish schemes. Germany separately requires analysis of producer role, LUCID, system participation, reporting and authorised representation where applicable.

Is official LUCID registration free?

Yes. Official producer registration and ZSVR data reporting are free of charge. Private service and system-participation costs are separate.

Can we keep our existing LUCID number?

Yes. For the same legal entity, the existing producer record should normally be retained and updated rather than duplicated.

Do Danish businesses need a German authorised representative?

A foreign producer without an establishment in Germany that directly supplies packaging or packaged products to German end users must assess the current authorised-representative requirement under the rules applied from 12 August 2026.

Can EPRORA connect our commerce and ERP systems?

Supported connectors are used where available. Other systems can be handled by API, middleware or structured import without falsely claiming a direct connector.

Packaging representation for your EU sales markets

Use the self-check to record the EU countries you sell to. Then explicitly choose each supported country for which you wish to appoint EPRORA. Selecting a sales destination does not itself grant a mandate.

A separate mandate and annual subscription for each country

Each newly appointed country has its own applicable annual subscription and one-time mandate setup fee. Regular annual renewal does not repeat the setup fee. The self-check shows the country-by-country charges, first-year total and subsequent annual fees. Applicable VAT and third-party costs are itemised separately.

A country rules and monitoring package does not replace representation or the annual subscription for another country. Additional services are shown separately from the mandate.

Country-specific mandate documents

Each appointed country has its own mandate documents. Review the details, complete any blank fields and sign the relevant documents. Generating a document or making a payment alone does not activate the mandate.

A German LUCID registration or a German mandate does not replace a separate appointment for other sales markets. Existing registrations and packaging scheme agreements are taken into account when processing your appointment.
