One operational platform for Australian companies selling into Germany
EPRORA is not only a registration service. It connects legal entity, mandate, LUCID, packaging quantities, marketplace data, evidence, Product Master, Packaging Master, DPP, serial numbers, QR product identity and Production Connector in one operating model.
Built for enterprise continuity
Management, compliance, export, finance and operations can work from one controlled source of truth.
Keep existing systems
EPRORA complements supported commerce and ERP/PIM environments through connectors, APIs, middleware and structured imports.
APCO and the Australian Packaging Covenant do not replace LUCID.
Australia’s existing co-regulatory packaging arrangement remains in force while national reforms are developed. That Australian layer can remain in place, but Germany still requires its own producer, LUCID, system, reporting and representation analysis.
DPP, serial numbers, QR and production in the same data model
EPRORA can extend the same product and packaging data to Digital Product Passports, serial numbers, QR product identity, supported commerce data and Production Connector.
Frequently asked questions
Does Australian packaging compliance cover sales into Germany?
No. Australia’s current co-regulatory packaging framework and Australian Packaging Covenant do not replace German producer-role, LUCID, system-participation, reporting or authorised-representative obligations.
Is official LUCID registration free?
Yes. Official producer registration and ZSVR data reporting are free of charge. Private service and system-participation costs are separate.
Can we keep our existing LUCID number?
Yes. For the same legal entity, the existing producer record should normally be retained and updated rather than duplicated.
Do Australian businesses need a German authorised representative?
A foreign producer without an establishment in Germany that directly supplies packaging or packaged products to German end users must assess the current authorised-representative requirement under the rules applied from 12 August 2026.
Can EPRORA connect our commerce and ERP systems?
Supported connectors are used where available. Other systems can be handled by API, middleware or structured import without falsely claiming a direct connector.
