## Direct answer for international businesses
German VerpackDG/PPWR applies from 12 August 2026. Qualifying non-German producers without a German branch selling empty packaging or packaged goods directly to German end users must appoint a German authorised representative. Official LUCID producer registration is free and personally reserved to the producer; reuse an existing producer record rather than duplicating it.
Thailand packaging EPR has developing draft legislation and voluntary initiatives. This is separate from the enforceable German destination-market obligations.

## Pricing / Selfcheck
EPRORA Thailand landings display active annual plans and one-off German representative setup in CHF. German packaging-scheme fees are charged separately. Selfcheck permits zero optional Digital Product Passports and provides a tailored quote. Commerce automation is conditional on actual connector APIs, account permissions and data fields.

## Digital Product Passport (DPP)

From 18 February 2027, Article 77 EU Batteries Regulation 2023/1542 requires a battery passport for EV, LMT and industrial batteries over 2 kWh placed on the EU market or put into service.
The European Commission plans the textile ESPR delegated act for Q4 2027; no blanket textile DPP requirement exists from February 2027.
There is no blanket February 2027 DPP obligation for all automotive parts or electronic components.
