Start with the supply chain
Do not start with the marketplace name. Identify who sells the packaged product, where that business is established, whether it has a German establishment and who receives the product in Germany.
Registration and EPR are connected
A producer must be registered before first making packaging or packaged products available in Germany. Where an authorised representative is required, the representative is identified during or after registration and confirms the appointment.
Packaging quantities still matter
The representative role does not replace packaging classification or quantity reporting. Product, sales and shipping packaging must be captured and allocated to the correct material categories.

Is LUCID registration free?
The LUCID registration itself is operated by the ZSVR without a registration fee. System participation and service costs are separate.
Does using Amazon remove packaging EPR?
No. Marketplace use alone does not determine producer status; the actual supply chain and fulfillment arrangement must be assessed.
